Ezra Kaplan, a technology producer at NBC News, was laid off. His tweet reads:
“After 5 years at NBC News, today I got laid off. It’s been a helluva run. I am so grateful for the relationships I have built and the reporting we have produced. This definitely stings (it sucks), but I am confident that other doors will open, and excited for new opportunities.”
Previously, Kaplan worked as a field producer for the network, based in Boston. He interned at and then joined the staff as a state politics reporter at The Associated Press. He also worked freelance.
Kaplan graduated from Northwestern University.
