Naftulin becomes editor on Business Insider’s special projects team

Julia Naftulin is becoming an editor on Business Insider’s special projects team.

Previously, she held a five-year tenure as Business Insider’s sex and relationships reporter, covering topics like sexuality, psychology, and the intersection of relationships and entertainment. She was also its resident relationship advice columnist, penning the bi-weekly column “Doing It Right.”

Naftulin launched and formerly wrote BI’s Dating App Clinic, where readers can submit their online dating profiles for tailored advice from dating industry professionals on how to improve them.

She has also held roles as assistant editor at Health.com and commerce editor at Dotdash, where she focused on health, beauty, and wellness shopping content. Her work has also been published in Health magazine and on Time.com, ApartmentTherapy.com, TheKnot.com, and Bicycling.com.

Naftulin graduated from Syracuse University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism.
