Marketplace has appointed Amanda Peacher as an editor.
She recently was serving as a senior reporter writing about the economy.
She has also worked freelance and has taught an upper-level course in audio storytelling and podcasting at UC San Diego.
She has also produced enterprise and investigative radio and online stories about the Mountain West from Idaho at Mountain West News Bureau/Boise State Public Radio.
She has also worked at Oregon Public Broadcasting. Peacher is a University of Oregon graduate.
