Khemlani among the Yahoo Finance layoffs

Senior health care reporter Anjalee Khemlani is among the layoffs at Yahoo Finance.

“We all know the media industry isn’t what it used to be,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “I know I’ve been lucky to still be in it, after watching many friends and peers bow out over the years.”

Khemlani previously worked as the managing editor for ROI-NJ, where she reported on New Jersey business news. Prior to this, she worked as the deputy managing editor for NJBIZ, which also covered New Jersey business.

Khemlani has also worked as a freelance contributor to SheThePeople.TV, which is an India-based female-focused news website.

She is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s in journalism.
