Fortune magazine has named Jeremy Kahn its artificial intelligence editor.
Kahn will be building out a small team to expand its coverage of this topic. Kahn will also be co-chairing Fortune’s three Brainstorm AI conferences this year, the first of which is in London in April.
And he’ll be overseeing an expanded Fortune Eye on AI newsletter, which increasing publication to twice weekly.
Kahn joined Fortune in 2019 after being technology beat reporter at Bloomberg News. Kahn was a staff writer at Fortune from 1997 to 2004, and then managing editor at The New Republic from 2004 to 2006. He then lived in New Delhi.
Kahn earned a master’s degree in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His undergraduate degree, in history, is from the University of Pennsylvania
