Wall Street Journal reporter Rod James has left the publication to become senior editor for private equity coverage at PitchBook.
He has been covering private equity, limited partners and fundraising for WSJ Pro.
He spent more than five years with Private Equity International, first in London and later in New York, leading coverage of the North American market.
He was also a capital markets reporter with EMEA Finance and editor with the Latin America economic and political risk team at IHS.
James is a graduate of the University of York.
