Morgan Brennan
Mark Mwachiro of TV Newser interviewed CNBC anchor Morgan Brennan about her new morning show called “Morning Call.”
Here is an excerpt:
TVNewser: What is the one thing that excites you about Morning Call?
Brennan: We are building and reimagining this hour from the content and the way we deliver and analyze it. The creation of a new panel of regular trusted experts to discuss the topics on tap for the day. Even the studio itself, how we’re using the space, and interacting with guests.
All of that is being reimagined in this hour, and I think what’s especially exciting is that the whole purpose of Morning Call is to bring together the sharpest minds in business.
What have you been doing in preparation for the new morning’s show?
We have soft-launched in the last couple of weeks, and I’ve been in the hour where we’ve been building, and been doing everything from interacting with the studio, the graphics, and the production [teams] differently, to thinking differently about how we go into interviews. I think the biggest thing here is that we’ve created this new panel, which will feature regular rotating experts and basically lightning rounds.
