The Financial Times has hired Toby Green as an assistant UK news editor.
Green has spent the last eight years at The Times of London as Saturday news editor and assistant news editor.
He also worked at The Evening Standard and The Independent in a variety of roles. At both, he was a markets reporter.
Green is a graduate of the University of York.
