Orianna Rosa Royle has been promoted to success associate editor at Fortune.
She has been with the magazine since January 2023.
Royle was inspired to start writing about success—and how those with it, attained it—after her own experience escaping poverty and trying to enter the corporate world with zero help.
She was the first in her family to graduate when she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Roehampton, where she was awarded for Best Performance.
After a brief stint of working as a video journalist, she has since spent the past 7 years writing about the world of work and in 2022 was awarded a 30 Under 30 award by the Professional Publishers Association for her commitment to uncovering inequality at work and profiling minority CEOs.
Royle is one of Fortune’s most-read authors. Since joining in 2023, she has secured top CEO interviews and relentlessly reported on all things careers.
