Fortune magazine has hired Lindsey Leake to cover health and wellness.
She’s also a senior editor on the alumni editorial board of The Science Writer, the digital magazine of Johns Hopkins University’s science writing program. Leake previously worked at USA Today newspapers in Florida.
Leake is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists, National Association of Black Journalists, National Association of Science Writers, Society of Professional Journalists and Investigative Reporters & Editors. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in its Virginia suburbs, she currently resides in Florida.
She holds an M.A. in science writing from Johns Hopkins University, an M.A. in journalism and digital storytelling from American University and a B.A. in Italian with journalism, as well as a Certificate in Translation and Intercultural Communication, from Princeton University.
