Paul Ziobro has been promoted to deputy chief Dow Jones Newswires editor for the Americas.
He had been from breaking news editor at The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires in New York. He will continue to report to Josée Rose.
Ziobro was previously a reporter in the Journal’s corporate bureau, where he wrote about large parcel shipping companies like FedEx and United Parcel Service and freight railroads like Union Pacific and CSX. He covered the ways goods are moved around the country and to people’s doorsteps, and how evolving shopping patterns are affecting the global supply chain.
He previously covered various other consumer-centric topics, from retail and restaurants to consumer products and packaged food.
Ziobro joined the Journal in 2012 after covering breaking news for Dow Jones Newswires. He is a graduate of Boston University.
