
MacKenzie Sigalos has joined CNBC’s San Francisco bureau as a tech correspondent to cover Alphabet and Apple, with a focus on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, in-house AI chip development, and driverless vehicles.
She will also cover fintech and the gig economy, including Uber, Airbnb, and DoorDash.
Her work has earned Peabody, Headliner, and SABEW honors. She previously served as a senior producer on CNBC’s digital video team, and before that, spent five years at CNN in New York and Hong Kong, where she worked across business and international news for the network.
MacKenzie graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received top honors for her master’s dissertation at the University of Oxford, where she was also awarded the Routledge Scholarship for academic excellence.
