Citywire has hired Sophie Downes as a reporter.
Downes is based in London. She previously worked as a reporter for Black Knight Media.
She is a graduate of the University of Bristol with an English degree.
“Citywire appealed to me due to the focus the company places on fresh and original reporting,” she wrote. “I was really impressed by the company’s studio and I hope to explore both film and podcast during my time here.”
