Business Insider executive editor Joe Ciolli is starting a markets newsletter called “First Trade.”
The newsletter will start in October.
“Each weekday morning, First Trade will break down the big market moves, who’s winning and losing, and how it all impacts you,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “It’ll include insights you can use for your job, offer tips for your own personal finances, and give you everything you need to win your group chat for the day.”
Ciolli has been with Business Insider since 2017, when he joined as a senior markets reporter. He previously was on the markets team at Bloomberg writing daily stories on equities and enterprise reporting on options, ETFs, market structure and academic research.
Ciolli also spent eight months writing for All Things Digital, the Wall Street Journal’s tech news operation. He has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s in journalism from Stanford University.
