Joi Preciphs, a senior editor for Bloomberg Opinion in London, died over the weekend.
She had been in that role since June 2023 and before that was an editor for Bloomberg Intelligence.
Preciphs joined Bloomberg in 2006 and was a reporter for three years, covering beats such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. She then was an editor on the Speed Desk and for Bloomberg First Word.
Before Bloomberg, she worked at The Wall Street Journal as a reporter.
Preciphs held a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri.
