Bloomberg Law hires Garcia to cover litigation

Emily Garcia

Bloomberg Law has hired Emily Garcia to cover litigation.

Garcia has been covering the environment and the economy for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as an intern.

She previously worked for The Oglethorpe Echo and In These Times.

Garcia is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she was enterprise editor of The Red and Black, the student newspaper.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
