Joe Adler, the Washington bureau chief of American Banker, is leaving the publication after 16 years.
“Worked with an incredible group of journalists and colleagues along the way,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’ll always be grateful for the experience. More on my next move soon.”
Adler has been with the Washington bureau of American Banker since 2006, writing on a variety of topics about the federal government’s financial services policy.
Before joining American Banker, he worked at newspapers in New England, beginning his career as a sportswriter in Massachusetts.
