Matthew Narvaiz, a staff writer who worked at the Albuquerque Journal for two years, is returning to work on the business desk.
Narvaiz comes back to the Journal after leaving the paper in February. He worked for two years as a staff writer covering the economy and cannabis. He joins a business desk that includes Business Editor Ryan Boetel and Megan Gleason, whose reporting focuses on energy, utilities and government.
“It’s good to be back,” Narvaiz said. “I look forward to bolstering the already great coverage from Ryan and Megan.”
Added editor Patrick Ethridge: “I’m happy to have Matthew rejoin our Business desk. His knowledge of the New Mexico business community adds even more depth and skill to an already strong business team at the Journal. Matthew, and the entire business desk, will continue to share stories highlighting both the struggles and success of New Mexico’s business community and the state’s economy as a whole.”
