DeMarco promoted to exec producer of breaking news video at Washington Post

The Washington Post has appointed Nicki DeMarco executive producer of breaking news video. In her new role, she will continue to oversee coverage of urgent stories globally and across all coverage areas.

DeMarco joined the Post in 2012 as an intern. She has served six years as a video editor in Features and then rejoined the video breaking news team in 2019. She was promoted to senior producer in 2020.

In addition, she has interned at PBS, the BBC and the U.S. House of Representatives.

DeMarco has a B.A. in broadcast journalism and international studies from American University.
