The Washington Post has tapped award-winning congressional correspondent for NBC News and political reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell as co-author of the Early 202 and an anchor of Washington Post Live.
She begins on May 2.
Caldwell joins from NBC News, where she has been working since 2014. Before that, she was a political writer/producer at CNN. She was also a political writer at CBS News and has worked as a multimedia producer at C-SPAN.
Caldwell has also worked as a news editor and correspondent at Pacifica Radio, Free Speech Radio News.
Caldwell has a B.S. from North Carolina State University.
