The Washington Post has tapped Hannah Knowles as a national political reporter to cover the 2022 midterm election and the 2024 presidential campaign.
Knowles joined the Post in 2019 and has since covered various topics, including the war in Ukraine. She also covered the pandemic and its politicization during a stint with the health and science team.
Recently, she worked with the general assignment team and interned at CBS News, The Sacramento Bee and The Mercury News.
Knowles has a B.A. in English from Stanford University.
