USA Today promotes Anastasi to VP, local news division

Michael Anastasi

Gannett | USA Today Network has tapped Michael Anastasi to serve as VP of the local news division. Recently, he served as regional editor, South. He was also VP and editor of the Tennessean.

Previously, Anastasi served as VP, news for the USA Today Network in Tennessee. He also held the posts of senior VP and executive editor at the Los Angeles News Group and served as managing editor of the Salt Lake Tribune.

Anastasi has a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach and a master’s degree from Lipscomb University in Tennessee.
