The Chicago Sun-Times has welcomed back Tina Sfondeles as chief political reporter.
Recently, she served as vice president of public and media relations at Mac Strategies Group, a strategic communications and government relations firm.
Before that, she was at Politico, where she held the post of White House reporter and, before that, co-authored the West Wing Playbook.
She has also worked as a politics correspondent at Insider and was previously with the Chicago Sun-Times for over 12 years, where she worked as a transportation reporter/breaking news reporter, general assignment reporter/political reporter and chief political reporter.
Sfondeles graduated from Loyola University in Chicago.
