The San Diego Magazine, which has been a source of providing local culture news and has acted as a guide “to the good life in San Diego” for the past 72 years, will be closing, reports Times of San Diego.
In an email to contributors, editor-in-chief Erin Meanley Glenny wrote, “A companywide lay-off is happening today.”
Although publisher and CEO Jim Fitzpatrick did not immediately comment, Glenny said in her note that “Jim is optimistic that the magazine will come back in the hopefully not-too-distant future.”
