Politico hires Kashinsky to cover Massachusetts

Lisa Kashinsky will be joining Politico as the author of Massachusetts Playbook.

Kashinsky joins from the Boston Herald where she held the post of politics/general assignment reporter. She has also worked as a freelancer at From the Top and was a staff reporter at The Eagle-Tribune. She was also a general assignment reporter at GateHouse Media.

She was also an editorial intern at Boston Magazine and was head copy editor, director of human resources at The BU Buzz Magazine.

She has also interned at The Patriot Ledger, Archant, Press and Sun-Bulletin, Newspaper Publishers LLC and Binghamton University.

Kashinsky is a B.S. in journalism from Boston University.
