The Oregonian has tapped Gosia Wozniacka to serve as an environmental justice reporter to cover climate change and legacy pollution impacts on communities of color and other vulnerable groups.
Wozniacka joined from Civil Eats, where she reported on food justice, agriculture, the environment, and farmworker/immigration issues. She freelanced and was a reporter at The Associated Press.
Wozniacka worked at The Oregonian from May 2006 to March 2010 as an immigration/Latino affairs reporter. She interned at The Dallas Morning News and The Hartford Courant.
Wozniacka has a B.A. from Boston University and a master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
