Ciera Crawford, deputy culture editor at NPR, has been appointed chief arts and culture hub editor.
Crawford joined NPR in October 2019 as a producer for “All Things Considered.” She later became a supervising producer for the show.
She also held the posts of news editor, overnight executive editor, reporter and morning drive assignment editor at Westwood One, a broadcast media production and distribution company in New York.
She also worked as a sports producer and morning show producer at Federal News Network in Maryland.
Crawford has a B.A. from Virginia State University.
