Sierra Lyons has joined The Miami Herald as a multimedia climate reporter. Previously, she was an investigative intern at NPR.
Lyons was a writer at Black Girl Nerds, where she interviewed film and TV actors for digital and print coverage.
She worked freelance, with her work appearing in Teen Vogue, The Washington Post, the New York Magazine and HuffPost.
Lyons has a bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University.
