Sarah Mosqueda has joined the Los Angeles Times Food department as a staff writer.
In her new role, Mosqueda will deepen the Times’ restaurant and culinary coverage in Orange County, the Harbor area, Southeast L.A. the valleys and Inland Empire.
Recently, she was a staff writer at Times Community Newspapers, where she covered culture, lifestyle and food. Before that, she worked at Coast Magazine for more than seven years covering fashion and food.
She was also a staff writer at Orangecounty.com, where she crafted daily blog posts for the online magazine.
From 2016 to 2019, she and her husband ran Irenia restaurant in Santa Ana, which served modern Filipino cuisine.
Mosqueda has a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from California State University-Fullerton.
