Journalist Powers departs Florida Politics

Scott Powers

Scott Powers, a journalist at Florida Politics, tweets:

“I have left Florida Politics. I wish all of the journalists there – indeed all of the journalists of Florida – all the best. Their services are needed now more than ever in our great Sunshine State.”

He was an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida, where he taught introduction to news reporting. He also reported for the Orlando Sentinel and the Columbus Dispatch.

Powers graduated from Ohio University.
