Joshua Howgego has taken on the role of deputy head of features at the New Scientist after returning from a sabbatical.
Previously, Howgego held the posts of features editor and education editor. He also worked as a deputy news and opinions editor at nonprofit organization SciDev.Net. He also freelanced as a science journalist and writer.
Howgego has degrees from the University of Reading in the UK, the University of Bristol and Imperial College London.
