Diakides swaps CNN for NPR

Tasha Diakides

NPR has hired Tasha Diakides as executive producer for newscast. She will join from CNN, where she worked for more than 21 years.

During this time, Diakides held the posts of producer – “Late edition with Wolf Blitzer,” 2008 campaign off-air reporter and field producer, field producer II – “State of the Union with John King,” supervising producer for chief national correspondent John King, and executive producer for “Inside Politics” and “Inside Politics Sunday.”

Diakides has a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
