Muhammad Zaeem Shaikh has joined The Dallas Morning News as a breaking news reporter. Previously, he interned at The Oregonian, where he covered crime, courts and breaking news.
Shaikh was a fellow at CalMatters and interned at The Sacramento Bee, where he covered wildfires, earthquakes, plane crashes, courts and crime.
Shaikh graduated from California State University, Fresno, where he was editor in chief of The Collegian.
