Jim Konrad has joined the Journal Inquirer as its new managing editor, leading a “newsroom that has been long respected for its public-service journalism and its commitment to the communities of north-central Connecticut.”
“I am looking forward to helping guide the JI in print and online,” Konrad added. “It’s a great institution and I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with so many great journalists.”
Recently, Konrad was executive editor of Norwich Magazine. Prior to that, he was with The Bulletin for more than 14 years starting of as managing editor and then holding the post of executive editor.
He has also served as news editor at Poughkeepsie Journal and held the post of sports assistant at The Hartford Courant.
Konrad is a B.A. in English/communications from Eastern Connecticut State University.
