CNN’s Wilkinson takes on international role

David Wilkinson

CNN has named David Wilkinson director of international planning, a role where he’ll oversee planning of international news coverage and events globally for the network’s platforms. Previously, Wilkinson served as a senior planning editor.

During his 14 years at CNN, he has also worked as a news producer/assignment editor, and producer for special projects. He worked at the BBC and Absolute Radio.

Wilkinson has a BSc. from the University of St Andrews and a M.A. from City, University of London.
