The Canadian Journalism Foundation and The Globe and Mail have partnered to launch a new Black Journalism Foundation, which is the fifth in the series for CJF’s Black Journalism Fellowship Program. This opportunity will be provided to an early-career Black journalist who has one-to -five-years’ experience.
The fellowship will be hosted in the Globe and Mail’s Toronto newsroom, where the fellow will receive mentoring and training for various skills, including writing, research, video and audio editing, and investigative reporting.
The fellow will also be entitled to a competitive full-time stipend and will write or produce work during their fellowship that will be considered for publication.
