Drew Brown, editor in chief of the Newfoundland and Labrador Independent in Canada, has announced that he will step down.
In his place, Justin Brake has been named interim editor in chief. He will assume his duties on April 10.
Brown took on the post of editor in chief in 2019. Previously, he worked at Vice Canada as a politics columnist from 2015 to 2019.
His work has also been featured in CBC and The Guardian.
Brown graduated from Memorial University in Canada.
