Axios hires Farokhmanesh as gaming reporter

Megan Farokhmanesh is now a gaming reporter at Axios and writes the site’s first gaming newsletter, Axios Gaming.

Farokhmanesh joins from The Verge where she was a reporter covering internet culture and the video game industry. She was also a reporter, Polygon; senior reporter, Polygon, and then deputy managing editor, Polygon, at Vox Media.

She has also freelanced for Paste Magazine and was a web editor at Vox Magazine. She was also a tech writer at Newsy.com.

Farokhmanesh holds a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism, classics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
