AFP has appointed Anuj Chopra as a misinformation and disinformation correspondent, based in Washington, D.C. Recently, he was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University in New York.
Chopra worked for AFP from July 2011 to July 2021 in various roles, including editor for the Asia-Pacific news desk in Hong Kong, Kabul bureau chief and Riyadh bureau chief.
Chopra graduated from Pune University in India.
