Tanzina Vega has joined startup outlet Charter as an editor, where she will help develop content about the future of work for its Pro newsletter and more.
Previously, Vega was host and editorial lead of national daily public radio show “The Takeaway” at WNYC Radio.
She was a visitng lecturer for the Humanities Council at Princeton University. Vega covered race and inequality for CNN and worked as a freelancer, digital producer, media reporter, national correspondent and metro reporter at The New York Times.
Vega has a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University and a master’s degree from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
