STAT News has hired Business Insider reporter Allison DeAngelis to cover venture capital and biopharmaceutical startups.
She will start later this month.
She has been covering biotech and pharmaceuticals companies for Business Insider.
DeAngelis has previously been with the Boston Business Journal. She previously worked for The Eagle-Tribune in Derry, New Hampshire as a reporter and at The Bellevue (Wash.) Reporter as a reporter.
She is a graduate of Boston University.
