Lauren Kaori Gurley, a senior staff writer at Motherboard covering labor issues, is leaving the Vice site for a new opportunity.
Motherboard is an online magazine and website focused on technology.
Gurley focused on the “ballooning labor movement” in the tech sector. She previously worked at The New Republic as a reporter.
Prior to her time at The New Republic, she was the web editor at NACLA, the North American Congress on Latin America.
She graduated from New York University in May 2018.
