Emil Protalinski has started a weekly technology newsletter called “Hard Coded.”
“‘Hard Coded’ is fueled by you: my readers, friends, and fans. If you’re reading this, you may have read my past work at tech publications,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
Protalinski is the former executive editor at VentureBeat. He also worked as a reporter at CNET, ZDNET, The Next Web and Ars Technica.
“I started this newsletter because I miss writing about tech news,” he wrote. “Yes, I make LinkedIn and YouTube videos about what’s trending in tech, but those just aren’t the same. I also ghostwrite for tech executives, but that doesn’t quite scratch the itch, either. I’ve known for a while now that I miss writing and sharing my thoughts about the tech economy; I just need to find the right outlet.”
