Ann Gehan, a junior retail reporter covering payments, retail technology, e-commerce and fintech, has left.
Gehan’s tweet reads:
“I’m so grateful to have worked with such talented and kind colleagues across the newsroom and will miss working with them a lot! A big thank you to the editors who hired me as a fellow and went to bat for me to convert to a full-time hire and my teammates who helped push me to become a better reporter. More on what’s next for me very soon.”
She joined in January as a finance reporting fellow.
Previously, she interned at the INDY Week, Concord Monitor and The Dallas Morning News, where she also worked as a freelance contributor.
Gehan has a B.A. from Duke University, where she worked at the student paper.
