The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced reporter to cover European technology, gaming and startups from Stockholm.
Our reporter will be expected to document the innovation and culture of the Northern European tech scene, first and foremost in the Nordics, writing about the latest trends and the biggest players, from Spotify to PewDiePie.
The geographic scope would also include other startup hotspots across northern and eastern Europe—from Estonia to Slovenia, with opportunities to write about Russia tech firms as well. A key component would be tracking innovation in the gaming industry.
We want to break news on the biggest players, including the likes of Candy Crush-maker King Digital, Angry Bird’s Rovio and Supercell, and the new startups and studios that are popping up daily across EMEA.
Our reporter will work closely with our European tech team in London, with tech-minded colleagues across EMEA, and with our tech reporters and editors in Asia, New York and San Francisco.
