WSJ seeks reporter to cover New York economic development

The Wall Street Journal’s Greater New York team is looking for an aggressive, news-breaking reporter to cover economic development in New York City and the region.

The job includes coverage of health care and business, including the city’s booming tech scene, breaking news and explaining what it means for New York City and its suburbs.

In addition to possessing a keen eye for a good story, the successful candidate will mine economic and demographic data to spot trends ahead of the competition — for GNY, U.S. News, and Page One. The successful candidate will have at least four years reporting and writing experience, plus great clips and strong references.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
