The Wall Street Journal seeks an editor to lead credit-markets coverage in real time and in print.
The editor will shape coverage of the $40 trillion U.S. bond market, ranging from the sprawling U.S. Treasury market to bonds issued by states and cities to so-called distressed debt traded by hedge funds.
The editor will manage a half dozen reporters, set news gathering priorities and develop stories exposing the personalities and institutions driving the global financial system. The ideal candidate will have significant experience reporting and editing at major publications and a keen appreciation of how financial markets work.
