WBUR seeks reporter

As a reporter in WBUR’s investigative unit, you will report and produce original, comprehensive stories for multiple platforms collaboration with ProPublica that are based on in-depth information gathered from interviews, public records, and data analysis.

You will also build relationships with multiple news sources and numerous subject areas and institutions. You will also request records as necessary, interpret them to formulate findings and communicate them to a variety of audiences in Greater Boston and New England, in audio production and multi-media digital platforms.

In this role, you will work with the investigative unit editor to translate complex issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five years of experience in investigative reporting and exceptional writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

This position is grant funded.
