Law360 is seeking a senior editor to join our team. Senior Editors’ primary duties include giving features and analyses first reads and working with reporters on the story’s content, structure and style; helping develop policy on Company style; slotting stories; and playing an important role in both initial and follow-up training for new reporters. Senior Editors also perform the same work as editors, as needs require, and may also be asked to fill in for absent copy chiefs. Senior Editors may work on other projects in other mediums as such opportunities arise.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional news judgment and a devotion to editorial excellence. Strong headline writing skills and an ability to work effectively with reporters, other copy editors and managers are musts. Experience editing legal or business news is a plus.

NYC copy desk shifts include: 1:00-9:00 p.m. and 3:00-11:00 p.m. (ET).
