Investor’s Business Daily and Investors.com are seeking a full-time copy editor to work in the digital first, unified Web/print newsroom at their Los Angeles headquarters.
The right candidate will have a strong interest in business and the stock market, a firm grasp of numbers and a passion for accuracy, clarity and engaging writing. Speed is essential to meet rolling deadlines for the national IBD newspaper and its companion website, Investors.com. Familiarity with Web-friendly writing principles, content presentation and SEO is strongly preferred, although guidelines and periodic training will be provided. Pagination skills and social media savvy also are pluses.
Investor’s Business Daily, launched in 1984, is known for innovative coverage and fact-based analysis of the stock market, economy, business and public policy.
